Protagonist also in the last day, the wind of Alicante proposed a new script, showing to the protagonists of the first stage of the circuit MedCup its "sparkling and unpredictable side", putting to hard test the choices of the tactician. A wind intensity around 10-12 knots gave the organizers of the Trophy Ciudad De Alicante the worthy conclusion of the seasonal ouverture of the Formula 1 of the sea.

There were rich satisfactions for Matador that, besides to pick the success with a one point of margin over a combative Artemis (Russell Coutts as tactician). Third, thanks to a last day seesawing, the new Emirates Team New Zealand, led by a slightly undertone Dean Barker.

The Argentinian hull of Matador (with Francesco Bruni at the helm) undermined the worthy couple of boats from Sweden-New Zealand. Pisco Sour III placed in sixth position. Certainty, Vascotto and companions will be able quite soon to comfort be thought about like - and above all to how much - their boat is improved after the winter intense activities operations from the Carbon Lab of Albino Boot: from race to race Pisco Sour III showed to have the cards for results that matter. Here in Alicante, the scarcity of training and speed testing has shown, with a team 50% renewed and with financial resources not of great certainty. It is just three weeks to the next regatta in Marseilles.

"We made an undertone beginning week" - comments Vasco Vascotto, skipper and tactician of Pisco Sour III - "We have been working a lot on the regulations. We are aware of the real capacity of our boat, despite a Low Cost regatta we succeeded to be first of the back pack. I am very pleased with the new purchases! Alberto Bolzan was for me a safety net, we know each other for many years, an important connection."

"We have been ruling \t the pin in the starts" - comments a smiling Alberto Bolzan, helmsman of Pisco Sour III - "For me this was a week of growth, like all of the team, a little training has been lacking. A more than positive experience, sailing always to level of the first taking confidence with the boat. I am very pleased to be able to race with these boys and to be able to return to the waters of Marseilles, convinced to be able to do well."
