It’s raining today on the Garda Lake, and this “blue mood” is the same that you can see on all sailors faces… since last night Andrew James Simpson, the famous British Sailor and Olympic athlete died. His Yacht capsized in San Francisco Bay last night.

To remember him, we suggest one minute of silence  at 11. am for all the athletes that are challenging at Garda Trentino Olympic Week.

On the Garda Trentino Olympic Week third day, the wind goes missing on Torbole, by grounding the Laser Standard and Radial, and the RSXM and RSXF.

In Riva del Garda blew a wind of 5 knots, but irregular, which did not allow the 49er and the 470M and 470F to challenge.

Malcesine has been an exception, where Finn “took home” three trials, and did the best Nacra17, with four races sailed, thanks to a wind at 5/6 knots.

Then postponed to tomorrow, for many of the classes in the race, the new "format" testing.

The Eurosaf Champions Cup Sailing, starting from the Garda Trentino Olympic Week 2013, is proposing a new format for the international regatta. The "medal race" will be held on Sunday, May 12th involving only the first 6/8 best in each Fleet.

The provisional results of the Classes Nacra17 and Finn, only classes to have competed in races on the third day of the Garda Trentino Olympic Week.
